I don't buy greeting cards or holiday cards anymore -- I make my own! I also do some rubber stamping and scrapbooking. But mostly I enjoy creating handmade, one-of-a-kind cards. I’ve been an avid crafter for most of my adult life. My crafting addiction started with cross-stitching, then moved on to wearable art, projects with painted wood, fabric crafts, and then paper crafts — which has transformed primarily into card making. I also make the occasional wreath, snowglobe, and other holiday crafts.

This is a graduation card for my 5-year old nephew who is graduating from pre-school. Obviously this card can be used for any type of graduation ceremony, and for graduates of any age.

I made a couple of graduation cards this year. This one feature's the graduate's name on the front cover. See how I made this graduation card, step-by-step.

Te Making Memories Reverse Action Tweezers are different from the tweezers most people are familiar with -- the tension is opposite. With most tweezers, you squeeze to grasp something. But these tweezers start out in a pinched position and you squeeze to open them. Here's why I love these tweezers...

I plan to use these flower cards mostly as birthday cards, but they would also be lovely as Welcome Spring cards, Happy Mother's Day cards, Friendship cards, or as Just Because cards for practically any occasion!

This handmade birthday card was fun to make. Remember that photocopied clip art or free-handed turtles would work just as well. Get the kids to help you color them! You could even put fun party hats on the turtles. Darn, I could have done that... I already have the hats! Or, you could paint their toenails sparkly colors.

This card was for a colleague who is leaving for a new job. I have now been recruited to make a card for every event in my office! For this one, I used my Cricut machine and a Sharpie marker, in addition to colored papers.
