Paper piecing is a technique that provides additional interest to a card or scrapbook page.
Generally speaking, it’s a method of using several pieces of paper arranged to make another image.
It can be as basic as using construction paper for a kids craft project, or with additional effort can make a beautiful piece of art.
Here’s a simple explanation of paper piecing.
Now, imagine the same technique using stamped images….
If you have any stamps with line images, you can create a page or card using the paper piecing technique.
Images are typically colored with marker, watercolor pencils, chalk, etc., then cut out and arranged.
Here are examples of great paper piecing techniques using the Happy Heart Day stamp set.
Look at your line image stamps, and try to pick out pieces of the image you can use for this technique.
Above all – have fun!
