Easter falls on April 8th this year and since March is the month for spring break vacations, you might want to start on your handmade Easter cards early this year.
I wasn't happy with the way that the image of the cross looked on the finished card, so I used Crystal Effects to bring in some dimension.
If I could do it over again, I would probably go back and emboss the whole cross image with clear embossing powder rather than use the Crystal Effects.
If you haven't used Crystal Effects before, it's a liquid that you can apply to any part of your project to give gloss and dimension to a specific area.
This card was made using the following supplies:
Cardstock - Stampin' Up Eggplant Envy, Pretty in Pink, Whisper White
Ink - Stampin' Up Eggplant Envy
Stamps - Stampin' Up Renewed Faith
Ribbon - Stampin' Up White Grosgrain
Extras - White Tag and Small Metal Keyring
I love Stampin' Up products and use them whenever I can. You can certainly use any other products to make this card. Just use the idea and make it your own!
